See it, stop it! Knowing your skin can make the difference
Skin cancer is the main theme of this campaign. The central image of the 2013 campaign, a typical eye-test everyone knows but with a twist to it, contains the 4 more frequent spots that have to be seen. The 2013 campaign is running in 30 European countries from 22 April until end of May 2013.
During this week, free screenings for the public will be held in hospitals, private practices and in public places. Moreover, a standard questionnaire will be used in all the participating European countries to enable information to be pooled from 140.000 patients, concerning keratosis tomelanoma, basal cell carcinomas, and squamous cell carcinomas
This initiative has been led by a network of European dermatologists who work for free to generously serve this cause. We thank them for working for free and for all of their contributions to this initiative!
