"Euromelanoma" este o campanie pan-europeana de preventie a cancerului de piele si isi propune sa furnizeze informatii despre preventia cancerului de piele si despre diagnosticul si tratamentul precoce al acestei afectiuni.

Campania a fost initiata in Belgia in anul 1999 si de atunci s-a extins in 29 de tari. Din Suedia in Cipru, Malta, Irlanda Rusia, de la Nord la Sud si de la Est la Vest in toata Europa.

Initiativa este condusa de o retea de dermatologi europeni care lucreaza gratuit si servesc cu generozitate scopului campaniei. In afara de actiunea anuala de examinare gratuita a pielii prezentam acum si informatii despre cancerul de piele.

Sunteti invitat sa parcurgeti informatiile acestei pagini web ca sa aflati ce este cancerul de piele si cum puteti micsora riscul de a dezvolta acest tip de afectiune in cazul dumneavoastra sau al copiilor dumneavoastra. Sunt prezente de asemenea informatii despre soare si radiatia ultravioleta - si veti descoperi si numeroase mituri despre bronzare!

Speram ca eforturile noastre vor fi apreciate si ca o cunoastere mai ampla a cancerului cutanat va duce la o mai buna prevenire a afectiunii.
