So why should you care about sun exposure?

Because excessive sun exposure equals sun damage and yes, it does happen to you! (50% to 80% of the sun damage done to our skin occurs during childhood and adolescence).

Intermittent and intense sun exposure (the one that gives you sunburns) that happens during summer holidays has been shown to increase the risk for skin cancer later in life.

Sun exposure is one of the most important factors associated with developing skin cancer!

Plus even if you don’t think skin cancer is something you should be concerned with (though you should- check out our skin cancer section) premature aging is also a result from years of sun exposure!!!! Skin becomes thicker, spotty and wrinkled...
