Dermatofibroma
It is most frequently observed on the lower extremities of adults subjects but it may arise in any location. The lesion presents as firm, depressed or elevated nodule or plaque, ranging in size from few millimeters up to several cm. The lesion is commonly brownish in color but sometimes may appear pink. Dermatofibroma is a benign fibrous lesion and can be misdiagnosed with cysts or melanocytic nevi. Dermatofibroma can be easily diagnosed by pinching the margins of the lesion between two fingers and seeing a depression or dimpling of the center of the lesion and feeling a palpable nodule.
